David Brough is a qualified Practicing psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. He is a member of The British Psychological Society (B.P.S.), a member of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (B.A.B.C.P) and Health care professionals Council registered(HCPC). David has previously worked in Industry, as a consultant for the NHS in addictions and mental health services. He has delivered programmes in Education and Research as a Practicing Psychologist and Psychotherapist for over thirty years. Specialising in Anxiety, Trauma, Depression, addictions and a range of complex psychological disorders. He has delivered psychological services across the UK and Europe for Private clients, Educational institutions, NHS Trusts, and business. He has provided appropriate interventions and therapy for successful recovery and rehabilitation from injury and psychological distress.
David Brough, Clinical Director of Alcohol Treatment Solutions, is unique as a scientist Practitioner who combines research with empirical actions. He is able to deliver interventions and make advances in client processing techniques to accelerate progress forward. David's approach is informed by : B.A,(hons) psychology, MSc Psychology, Post Graduate Diploma C.B.T., Post Graduate Diploma Systemic Counselling, MBP'S, MBABCP, Master Practitioner (Neuro.Linguistic .Programming.), Trainer of Trainers (N.L.P), PGC, Health and Social Care. He is also a Doctoral Researcher in alcohol treatments and methods. David is able to make available his range of scientist-practitioner skills and experience for clients who wish to access ATS.

His continued research as to the efficacy of alcohol treatment programmes has developed an innovative, richer, more accurate and successful approach to alcohol treatment, THE FORM.
David has managed and delivered services for NHS Trusts on a Consultancy basis nationwide across the UK, enabling his unique set of knowledge,skills innovative mind to develop.
The World Health Organisation has identified alcohol as the third-largest health risk factor in developed countries.ATS is the only bespoke mechanism to address the burden and chaos of this significant cause of illness, injury, and death.
